Ingredients:

  • Asparagus
  • Gruyere or Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil.

Prep and Cook:

  • Preheat the oven to 425.
  • Break or chop the ends off the asparagus. The bottom 1/4 to 1/3 are very tough once cooked. It may seem wasteful, but you wouldn’t eat it anyway.
  • Place the asparagus in a gallon freezer bag, or bowl with lid.
  • Add 1 – 2 Tbls of olive oil.
  • Add a 1/4 cup of grated cheese. Close and shake the container.
  • Spread the Asparagus on a cookie sheet. I like using a wire rack, and parchment paper.
  • Place in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
